There are three main projects for 2010: The court and firm tour as part of Law Week. Students enjoy a bus ride to and a tour of the Cape High Court and are treated to lunch at a particular firm. This project is very popular amongst the students as the court can only accommodate groups of up to 15 students. The CV Talk. This session takes place a week prior to the employers open day at the faculty and trains students in the art of compiling the perfect curriculum vitae. In 2010 the L.E.A.D. school was involved and the CV Talk took place during the lunch hour, thereby making it possible for students from all year groups to attend. Moot courts are held in September and November as Stellenbosch takes part in both the African Human Rights and the International Human Rights moot court competitions. By taking part, students gain insight into what practice is all about and acquire valuable social skills.
