What is my user name and password?
Your login credentials for portal are your Novell (network, e-mail, internet) user name and password.
No user name / no password / forgotten password If you are a student who has not registered for network/portal access, and therefore do not possess a user name and password OR if you have forgotten your password, send an e-mail to portalhelp@sun.ac.za In your message please inform us of your name, UT number and which portal and/or service you wish to gain access to.

I receive a 'no such object' error message
Please report the error message together with your US user name and/or US number here.
I receive an 'invalid credentials' error message
This indicates that your password has been entered incorrectly.

I can sign in, but then receive the "you do not have permission to perform this operation" error message
Please report the error message together with your US username and/or US number here. To solve this problem we also need you to confirm that you are a student and the Faculty / Division you belong to.
